Accessibility
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Steady Bar wants everyone to be able to shop our site and read our labels with ease, including people who use assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities affecting vision, hearing, movement, and cognition.
What we're doing
- Building on an accessible Shopify theme with keyboard navigation and a skip to content link
- Adding descriptive alt text to product and page images
- Keeping ingredient lists and Nutrition Facts available as real text, not only inside images
- Checking color contrast and text sizing as we add new pages
- Reviewing the site regularly as we make changes
Known limitations
We're a small team and still improving. Some images may be missing alt text, and some third party tools on our site, such as checkout, subscriptions, and email signup forms, are run by other companies and may not fully meet our goal. We're working with those providers where we can.
